And our next adventure... Marry Me?

We all like a bit of love and romance, so you can imagine how excited we were at Drifting Bear HQ when someone ordered one of our Personalised Memories Prints to be an integral part of their wedding proposal!

We often receive many orders for prints to commemorate special occasions, but never before had one of our prints played such an important role in the main event! I think we all felt as nervous as if we were asking the big question ourselves… would she say “Yes”?

We waited with baited breath until we got the news we were all waiting for: ”It was a yes, just did it at the weekend! Very excited! She loved the print, thanks again.”

“Phew!” Big smiles all around and a few more “Ahh’s”!

We wanted to share the exciting news with you all, so asked the ‘husband-to-be’ to write us a few words. Here’s what he had to say:

“I had previously ordered a coordinates print from The Drifting Bear Co. (through Notonthehighstreet.com) as a wedding present for a friend. I was really pleased with their service and quality of the framed print.

After I had been so happy with the coordinates print, I had another look through The Drifting Bear Co. portfolio. I saw the Memories Print and thought that it would make an excellent way to propose to my girlfriend! The design was brilliant and I loved the attention to detail.

I wrapped the framed print as an anniversary gift, so my girlfriend wasn’t expecting a proposal. When she came to read the line at the bottom, I had a ring ready to pop the question!

After ten years together I was pretty sure it would be a ‘yes’, but you never know!

I did get the answer I was hoping for and am so pleased that I chose The Drifting Bear Co. to design the print. Everyone comments on how amazing it looks, and it is so nice to have permanent reminder of the occasion on our wall at home.”

We’re so pleased we were asked to be involved in such a happy event and wish the happy couple all the love and luck in the world for their future together!

Here they are straight after the unique proposal, print in hand, ring on finger!
